You have a very kind heart. We just had our first baby, and we are drowning in bills. Of course we make “too much” for any type of assistance. If you have any extra, we would sure appreciate a dinner. It would be such a blessing to us right now.

I have just run across your article from a friend of mine. You are amazing, I just ran away with my kids for our safety. I would ask for help but there are far more people who need the help more than me, I have been gifted with a new job and will do my best to make the smiles on my kids faces bigger than ever this year. But you deserve hugs for your compassion, there aren’t many people out there who care this much. Prayers to you.

I could use help with gas money plus a little extra to buy or make something to take along for the meal. My son/and wife are Doing Thanksgiving dinner at their house (an hours drive from me)They have invited me to come(the whole family (his & hers) will be there.I would love to go too but I just was put on lay-off from work 11-10-11 and my last pay won’t even pay my bills. My job dosen’t let me collect unemploynent (I have to do my own taxes and pay in every year) Everyone that comes brings something/food and we do like a smorgus board type thing. I would be thankful for gas money to get there but would truly be blessed if I could take something along to contribute too so I wouldn’t feel like a free-loader. Thanks so very much for doing this wonderful thing and may God bless. I do not have a web site so I will leave it blank or use yours if you want me to.

God bless you all! I had to get a food box this year and luckily have family in town that can help me out. I swear, if I had $25.00 I would donate it in a heartbeat. It is wonderful to see that humanity and kindness are still alive especially in these hard economic times. Thank you for restoring my faith in people and that is what I am thankful for this year.
