I’m feeling compelled to follow up after the firestorm of that NYT article. (Because, wow, what a storm!)

After reading the article that Sunday morning, my personal take-away was that many mamablogs are moving from less scrapbooky to more professional (which I think is really cool). I pretty much breezed through the dismissive stuff (the title of course and other details everyone has mentioned). I definitely think the author should have been more thorough, but what I came away thinking was less about the author and more about how great it is that you and other bloggers are finding success on your own terms.

Anyway, I hope that the hard-working mamabloggers don’t let one imperfect article define them or cloud the really cool work they are doing.

I can not lie either. People can just tell, so it must be my face. unless I am sweating or something. Hm. Anyway, I just got a DSLR and am loving getting fast pics like this of my 2 yo. What a difference! Your pics are always amazing. Hopefully I will at least figure out the buttons soon.
