Resources for Moms

Motherhood is the most wonderful and beautiful experience in the world, so why aren't you constantly surrounded by rainbows and unicorns? Whatever the reason, you aren't alone.

Here are some resources that may help…

If you are suicidal, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). The phone number will automatically direct you to the local suicide hotline in your location.

If you are being abused, visit the National Domestic Violence Hotline or call 1-800-799 SAFE (US) or 1-800-363-9010 (Canada)

If you are concerned about the safety of a child, visit Childhelp for assistance, or see their state by state listing. Resources in Canada can be found here.

The United Way is national system of volunteers, contributors, and local charities helping people in their own communities. To locate available resources in your area, call the United Way's 211 help number and speak to a trained resource and referral specialist.

When a disaster threatens or strikes, The Red Cross offers food, shelter, clean-up kits, comfort kits, medical services, financial assistance, advocacy, and counseling. Visit their website for more information: American Red Cross / Canadian Red Cross
