Kelly- The baby’s story came first, and I did the other kids so I could have them all. But now, these ended up more detailed than Evan’s and I feel like he got the short end. Ahhhhhh!!!

I felt the exact same way about Middle and Baby! They're only 12-1/2 months apart. I felt so guilty for cheating Middle out of his babyhood. Now they're 4 & 3 and the best (and worst) of playmates.

I have a special affinity for the middle kids being one myself. My parents were especially sensitive to the middle kid syndrome and told me time and time again that I “was the middle of the sandwich; without me, there would be no sandwich”. As a kid I remember this being very strange…
Such a sweet tribute to each of the kidlets! Baby’s coming next, right?!

Also had the same story told to me – my mother had no idea how she’d love another baby. But I was born and her heart got bigger…Think I believe her :) But I feel the same way about my unplanned Stinker – 9 years old and though someday I want more I always worry I’ll love him most because of what we’ve been through together alone.
