WOW! That looks like a mess… but I suppose a fun mess?
“Mud! Yeah!” Voicing the thougt of every kid in the world when confronted with mud, including my one year old who can’t wait to get her new HelloKitty boots dirty.
Those rain boots are awesome!! Where did you get them?
Looks like they had a lot of fun!

How cute! And who doesn’t love mud? I’ll admit it- with rain boots on, I happy go through the mud.
What a gorgeous set of muddy pictures! Those almost make me want to send my kids out to play in the mud. Wait! It’s sunny today. Darn. ;)

We did some puddle play yesterday, too. Would have been more fun if I had boots, too. Guess that gives me an excuse. SHOPPING!

reminds me of the Clorox commercial where the boys are playing in the mud. The first time my youngest saw the commercial, he said to me “Man, their moms are gonna be so mad!”
LOL!

Awwww. That is an adorable mess! :) Looks like they had fun. I hope to one day not obsess over my son’s cleanliness and just let him enjoy some time in dirt or mud. My poor kid has a control freak for a mother. I love the puppy raincoat and monster (?) rain boots!

Oh my goodness!!!!! That looks like so much fun!!! My daughter LOVES to play in mud puddles. Its the mess that usually kills me – but, then I have to stop and tell myself, that she’s only young once and the day will come that she won’t want to splash in the puddle, so I better enjoy it now while I can.

Aww cute, looks like fun!
I gotta know where you got the puppy rain coat…my daughter is slightly obsessed with dogs and would love one like that.
My mom got it for us from a little boutique, but I found it here: http://bebewonders.com/product_info.php/products_id/419 It even comes with boots!
Awesome, thanks a bunch!
Now those are some happy happy boys!! I’ve always said the dirtier they are the more fun you know they’ve had!!
LOL. My mom once told my brother “yuk how dirty you are.” He responded – “that’s how you know I had fun!”

Brings back memories… I had a cool mom, too! She would let us slip & slide through the mud and then strip us naked at the door. ;)

Ooh, my son can’t RESIST a puddle. Whether it’s in the middle of a parking lot or our backyard. I just accept it now. (Of course, I loved running around in the rain as a kid too so its probably my fault)

Stunning photos. He looks very proud of himself!
In my house, my kids want nothing to do with mud, but I can’t keep my husband out of it. There’s something unsavory about chasing a grown man around the house with a towel and wipes.

Those boots are fantastic! I can’t wait until T’s old enough to play in the mud, ’cause then I can too.

Perfect! I have 3 mud puppies here too. Last year I bought rain boots for myself and they are SO FUN. Well worth the money–every time it rains we all head out for puddle stomping.

That’s one lesson (of many) my kids have taught me: the pure joy of mud puddles. I don’t think I ever played in one before I was a mom. Now, we make up for lost time.

I think it’s awesome!!!!! I sometimes wish my son would want to get a bit dirty but he has no interest. He’s like his Dad, hates sticky so much that he eats a plum by the sink with the water running. Oy.

You’re a good mom to let them play and get as dirty as they want. I never understand parents who freak out about that stuff (like my in-laws). Everything can be washed!

Having 2 boys myself I can very much relate! I think we have about 6 pairs of rain boots and wear them even if it’s not raining :) You gotta LOVE boys!!! There isn’t a puddle they didn’t like.

Boys, Rain Boots and Mud-
they look as dirty as if they’ve gone down a Pesky Wabbit Hole with Elmer Fud.
Yet someday somegirls will think they’re hunky studs,
when they give them candy and bunches of flower buds.
You’ve heard this thousands of times, but you do take awesome pictures. I wish I could be more brave and just get my camera up there. Zoom in!

I maintain that if my munchkin isn’t nice and dirty by the end of the day and in serious need of a bath then I’ve done something horribly wrong with my day.
