Finally! A Pool Float Made For People With Boobs

If you’ve got large boobs, you know how uncomfortable it can be to ever attempt to lay on your chest. Our girls either end up laying in a nest that is our armpits or we lay on our backs, because comfort. But one British lingerie company whose pledge is to “inspire big-boobed women to feel amazing” is putting their money where their, um, chest is and designed a pool float made with large chested women in mind.

“When we posted on our social networks an April Fools’ joke about developing a pool float with room for your boobs, we were not expecting hundreds of you to tell us that you really, really wanted one… but your reaction made it clear that we had to do it!” Bravissimo posted on their website.

The Bravissimo Lilo (the British term for pool lounger) is a float that has built-in “cup holders” (amazing) for your boobs, so you can float to your heart’s content while tanning your backside and not choking to death on your cans.

According to their website, they received a huge response from customers who didn’t want the pool float idea to just be a prank, they wanted it for real. The people spoke and a company actually listened — to what women want — what a concept.

The Lilo is available on Bravissimo’s website for $45 for those of us in the US, which is a bit steep as far as pool floats are concerned, but a small price to pay for being able to lie face down for once. Shipping is an extra $5 for us Yanks as well, but if you live in the UK you can snag one for the equivalent of around $33 (*immediately calls Scottish mother-in-law to snatch me one pronto*).

The company said after their “joke,” hundreds of their customers said they’d not only use it in the pool, but wanted to bring it to their “next massage appointment” or use it “as an airbed to get the best night’s sleep ever!”

Boob level — genius. Achievement unlocked.

We’ve seen pool floats with our backsides (and general happiness) in mind but never one that considers what we big-boobed gals go through on the daily. Our time has finally come.

“We’ve developed it in record time to make it available for the summer so if you think we could do something better next time, please tell us – you’re always brilliant at giving us your views and we love to learn from you and improve what we do,” they said on their website. Judging by the pictures, it looks like they hit the nail on the head already.

If you have large boobs and also enjoy summer, this is the product for you. Now if only they could do this with mattresses…
