A confession is defined as: “An admission or acknowledgment that one has done something that one is ashamed or embarrassed about.” The Confessional is a place to confess the things that you can’t in real life, for fear of judgment or negative repercussions. It’s a place to find comfort in the reactions and support from other scary mommies.
Confessions undergo a brief approval process before they are posted. The following will not be approved:
• Reactions of any kind.
• Incomprehensible/text like confessions.
• Questions or polls.
• Statements or mundane observations.
• Confessions broken into various posts.
• Confessions directed towards a particular person.
• Complaints or rants.
Still confused? Here are a few examples:
“To my SIL, you are a piece of crap and I hate you.” = Not a confession
“I think my SIL is a piece of crap and I hate her.” = Confession
“The sun is shining.” = Not a confession
“The sun is shining and all I want to do is sit inside.” = Confession
