Mickey Mouse Rainbow Love ears are at both Disney World and Disneyland
Walt Disney World and Disneyland are already the happiest places on earth, but now they’re that much cheerier with the addition of rainbow Mickey ears that arrived just in time to celebrate Pride Month.
While the company hasn’t said the ears are here in honor of June’s celebration of all things Pride, that’s how Disney fans on social media are interpreting the move. The design is officially called “Mickey Mouse Rainbow Love,” so it’s a pretty safe bet that those fans are correct.
Look at how beautiful.
ICYMI I am obsessed with rainbows and bright colors, so this new rainbow ear hat at #Disneyland immediately caught my eye. I absolutely LOVE them! 😍 But also… props to Disney Parks for being so inclusive in their merch and for promoting and supporting #pride. 🌈💕🌈 . . . . #rainbow #earhat #mickeyears #loveislove #gaydaysanaheim #dca #disneymom #disneylifestyle #mycolorfullife #disneyig #disneyblogger #loveislove #rainbowmickeyears #rainbowearhat
When asked about details on the ears, a Disney spokesperson tells HuffPost, “We offer a wide range of merchandise items that appeal to guests of diverse backgrounds.” The red hats with rainbow ears feature two Mickey hands forming a heart that’s also sporting the rainbow stripes.
Whatever the reason, we’re definitely here for what they represent and the adorableness — they’re just way too cute.
Actor and YouTube personality Joey Graceffa wore the ears with his boyfriend, Daniel Preda, and Preda’s nephew Luca on a recent trip to Disneyland.
Holy freaking cute.
Travel vlogger Gio Spano says the ears are selling for $17.99, and they’re not available online, so if you want a pair, better plan a trip!
