I actually looking forward to turning 40! I just recently read a wonderful book on turning 40 titled, “40+ and Fabulous: Moving Forward Fierce, Focused, and Full of Life!” by Sondra Wright. The book really helped me feel confident about midlife. As I age life only gets better and I only become more sure of myself. I hear 50′s are even better!

I too turn 40 in 2011, a very different person than I was at 30. To mark this birthday I am starting my own home organizing business, growing my hair longer and sexier, and training to run at least a 5k and maybe a half marathon with my best friend. All of these a present to myself to be the best me I can in my 40s!
