I regularly buzz my three boys hair, and now it's easy because they are so used to it. But I remember those days where I had to hand out lollipops, even before the cutting began, and within 10 seconds it was covered in snot, tears and stuck with pieces of hair. .-= Kelly Smith´s last blog ..Lessons in the city… =-.

There is a shaver that will cut at a 19 try that you might like that haircut I did on my son hair.

I think the cut looks great. My first clipper cut wasn't nearly that nice. I have one kid who can sport the clipper cut but the other kid looks a little WW2 German when the clippers hack off his locks. Still trying to learn the perfect scissor cut for him. It came out great! I have to confess, I did the same thing. I figured “How hard could it be?” I’ll save $12 a cut and do it myself. The first time went OK. The second time was OK. The third time it went badly as the cheap clippers started to get stuck and not work right and he said it hurt. The fourth time was a disaster. It might be the cheap clippers and the fact that I don’t totally know what I am doing. Anyway, for now, we are back at the Kids Kut place!; )

I took my little boy to hairdresser recently for his 1st haircut. It was quite a disappointment ! Not sure I can convince my husband to ever let me take him again.
