I just completed my first draft of my book. Whew! And it has a new name. You ready? Motherhood Comes Naturally (and other vicious lies). It’s already up on Amazon, which makes me both really excited and ready to throw up. Just like pregnancy.

But, it’s not out yet. And remember what is? Confessions of a Scary Mommy. It’s red and pretty and really would make an awesome holiday gift. See? Look at that!

Speaking of Confessions, I finally got a few copies on the audio book I recorded over the summer. It’s highly amusing to me that I recorded it myself, since it takes me 47 tries to get a voice mail message I like. But, it’s available for purchase if you think you can listen to me talk for over four hours straight…

Awesome! I am so happy for you! Great idea to do a audio tape since many moms dont have time to read a book. I would love to have this and have a scary mommy party and listen to it together with a bunch of moms in my area! Id love to see their faces as you read the book lol. Kind of like a book club, but one more interesting and a break from the kids; to drink and laugh our butts off together. Talk about moms being united! :)

I look forward to your posts everyday! I am the mother of one 16 month old son (who is currently going through the “terrible twos”) and I have 4 other children that I take care of at my business. So your posts put a smile on my face when the day is not going as planned and I have 5 children screaming at me that they are tired including my own who I know feel extremely guilty about neglecting because there are 4 other kids who need my attention too.
