Husband's wallet missing. Help!!

Ok, ladies. Help me out here! The ADHD spouse has misplaced his wallet. I feel like we have looked everywhere from the car to the yard to pants pockets to couch cushions, but I know you ladies may even have more ideas. So where do I look next?

I've also called all the places he went Sunday. Not there. It wasn't many places and this town is TINY. We can get new cards sent fast and our bank acct was not compromised. I'm mostly concerned about his license and saving him a trip to DMV. He was born in Italy and they wrote the wrong birthdate on his original certificate, so it's a HUGE pain in the asshole to get things squared away with DMV. I want to find it! Ideas?

In the last pair of pants he wore?  My husbands has gone through the washer that way.  So maybe the washing machine?

I'm saving the garbage for him, but that is on my list @eapple. ;)

Yes, washing machine, dryer and laundry have been checked. Gah. This is unnerving to me!

My kids have put things in the refrigerator or freezer and also in their pillow cases, in the backs of stuffed animals where the batteries go?!?! Really odd places is where I usually find things in my house.

Mine left his car keys in the freezer once. He usually looses things in the office and into the hamper.

Found mine once behind the fridge, jammed in between the actual fridge part of it and that grill thingy that gets all full of dust? You know, the thingy? Am I making sense??

What kind of chair or couch? You may need to flip it to look up in or under it.
    Dig through the dirty clothes
In and around your bed, we have a pullow top and the tv remote was under the pillow top.
    Nightstand in and around
    Babys bed or crib? Toybox?
Dd threw daddys wallet away once. Lol Thankfully we found it.

Yes, the condenser! Just enough room for a wallet to get stuck in there!

I'm on it! Looking, looking, looking. I love him, but he has got to keep better track of his stuff. Good gravyboat! I'm trying to be understanding. Shit happens. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't frustrated though. Ugh.

If you have a garage, look everywhere in there. If not, outside on the ground where his car is normally parked.
  • @sammie your cute, SO does this all the time, does he have a work bag he carries, check every where if he does. Grocery bags, any jackets?

Check bags he may have come back with on Sunday, in between the mattress and the bed frame, on top of the fridge, in cabinets, in drawers, in bugs toy box. Check pretty much anywhere you wouldn't expect to find it.

Mine loses his all the time, too! I tell him, put your shit in the same place EVERY time and you won't lose it!

Last time it was lost for three days and he found it in the hatch of the minivan.

Another time it was under the one of the kids car seats. Yet another under some stuff in the side of the car door. Once in the glove compartment. Once in the engine area from when he was checking the oil... sock drawer, dishwasher, dogs kennel... it's been in the trash, diaper bag, coat pocket, MY PURSE. It's a problem here, too. GOOD LUCK!!! :D

Found it!! Looked EVERYWHERE!! It was caught in the dryer. The corner was wedged in one of those little holes and since it was dark, I had missed it completely. I had decided to just say screw it and started doing my housework then BOOM there it was just like @arkroyal said. Thx for all the ideas and suggestions, friends!!

@girdyolee @ohkay, I'm glad someone can empathize. This man has it all together at work then he comes home and it's like in order to decompress he just says 'fuck it' and things he needs get lost, misplaced, forgotten. I can't keep up! I've put baskets by the coffee pot, by the front door, made checklists, etc. so that he can have a spot for his essentials. I've made it easy and he still misplaces stuff all the time! He really does have ADHD, and even medicated, I think he's a bit more spacey with these things than most....but still. I've got enough going on at any given time without stressing about this stuff and spending hours hunting it down. The freak!! ;)
