So motivation.. it helps to remember WHY we started this. What was that moment, that point in time when you decided wow...I really need to do something about me.
For me, I remember it was before my first was born, I was sitting in bed and on my lap a HUGE plate of nachos (made from Doritos no less) had my salsa and pepsi too. We were watching off all things... The Biggest Loser, and I said "Boy, I wish I could do that", and the hubby looked at me and said, "So..why dont you?"
Stupidest thing, but there ya have it. I had no answer. Why couldnt I? So I did. Joined a gym, and started losing. That was almost 7yrs ago. I have had many bumps along the way (kids) but Ive never since then given up. At my heaviest I was 240lb... I had at one time made it down to 180.. then divorce hit.. wow.. sitting back around the 200s, something I swore I would never do again.
So I write this to stay accountable, and remember why I started in the first place.
There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other. Which one are you?
