Good Morning!  Spring has sprung here in the South.  It's cold this morning and garage looks BEAUTIFUL.

My garage used to be the pit... I wanted to put shades in the windows so no one could see.  Well, I enlisted two friends and we gutted and reorganized the garage in 4 hours.  I'm exhausted and sore today.  My husband (who was banned because he can't throw anything aways) is THRILLED.  He did think about taking some things from the Goodwill pile, but I wouldn't let him.

Do you have a secret stash of junk? Or am I the only one?!?!

Morning girls!!!! In Ohio today we are supposed to get some snow.... What???? It's almost May!!!!

Kudos on cleaning out the garage!!!! I have sooooo much stuff we need to get rid of. I'm a minimalist while dh likes to keep EVERYTHING bc there is a remote chance we may need it even tho we haven't in a decade. Makes me insane. He has 20 year concert tshirts and magazines blah

@lifeofchaos - I was planning to put away my winter clothes until I saw the forecast. Haven't heard of its going to stick though. Snow sucks. Ohio sucks.

I have 2 stashes that need to get dealt with. My attic space and my garage. We still have unpacked boxes from our move in July. Oops. And, we have little girl toddler clothes, teen girl clothes and household stuff that we are giving away of anyone needs it PM me. We moved from a much larger house to this one. Ugh. Too much stuff.

My spare room is a maze of craft supplies and excercise equipment. The craft stuff is mine, the excercise equipment is Dh's. I'm thinking of just trashinhg it all. No one would know for several months. But Dh is the KING of secret stashes. My garage and his desk are both nightmares.

My whole house is a clusterfuck of unorganization and I hate it. There is stuff everywhere. As ive said in other posts, Ds11 is the biggest slob and feels my house is just a garbage can. :(
Stay away from my chocolate and nobody gets hurt!

@momof2boys42 I honestly think all kids think that. The only time my 3 help me clean at all is when I bring out the garbage bag. I also recently made a rule if it's left anywhere except your room it goes to the trashcan. They don't beleive me just yet, but I'm tired of the mess.

@LA_PygmyHerder...HA! I just did that this weekend. They went to Nana's house Saturday, and before they left they were supposed to clean their room. I told them whatever was left on the floor was going to the garbage. I guess they didn't believe me, but I took a whole garbage bag of stuff out of their room. They freaked when they got home. I didn't really throw it out, just stuck it in the shed. After they get in the habit of cleaning up the right way, I'll give it back.

Arg. I have 6 Rubbermaid totes in my office/laundry room of paper to sort. Old self-employment stuff, and who knows what else. I'm also STILL sorting out my fat and regular clothes and DS is a year old.
We have been finishing the basement for 2 years, so I have a good reson to avoid that mess.

I am off work on medical leave and as I am able with the help of my SO we are tackling some of the organizational issues.  On the weekend we put up some pictures.  I also have another load for goodwill in the basement as I cleaned out the two linen closets in my house.  I hope to finish a few more jobs before I go back to work.  I have to ration my energy but I feel good that I am at least accomplishing a few things.  It is really helping my stress levels to complete some of these jobs that have been hanging over my head for the last 6 years.   Reducing the stress will definately help my medical conditon as well.

I did the garbage bag thing when my kids were little and away for the weekend at their dad's.  My DD still hasn't forgiven me for cleaning out her room and that was 12 years ago.  Now I just shut her door.

I hate clutter. My house is clutter free except for the laundry room.It is by the garage and everybody uses it as the damping room. I will take care of it tomorrow. My poor and really nice MIL tells me to rest instead of clean but as soon as she leaves I become the clutter destroyer. She is gone until Thursday, wish me luck :)
Oh, and DD helps me clean. When she grows into the mess monster they all become she is going to spend a lot of time washing dishes until she gets fix.
