Not really sure which category to put this in but I recently got a new piercing about 1 1/2 weeks ago everything is healing nicely but the doctor wants me to have an MRI done. I don't want to take them out cause well I love them, could I just put in plastic barbells? Should I go back and have the guy who pierced me do it?

Plastic is fine for an MRI, but absolutely no metal. I'm not an expert on piercings, but it would probably be safest to have the professional do it for you.

Wheres the piercing? Or do I wanna know? lol You could probably do it yourself- the plastic plug/barbell idea sounds good.

Hi I have an MRI done every 3 months. I use plastic studs but the MRI tech still moans about these, but I'm not sure how you would get on with a new piercing. Maybe ask the piercing place what they recommend.

@unforgiven:  I was thinking exactly the same thing!  I can't bear the thought of piercing anything but my ears, and 2's enough there!!!!!

@unforgiven and @hmr they don't even hurt anymore. I will admit that I screamed a little with the first one. Lol I just don't want to get them redone.
