Good lord, I should have bought stock in Puffs.....

I'm 42 and have been in pm for 2 yrs. I CAN'T STOP CRYING.

    Cute baby commercial? Crying.

Last 2 shows of Glee? Bawling.

Series finale (and the past few shows building up to it) of House MD? Heart-wrenching sobbing.

Something sad on SM or the news....you get it, more crying.

    WHAT THE FUCK?

Ok, I have always been an extremely sensitive person. Very empathetic so when something moves me, I get emotional. I've always considered it a negative but my husband says it's actually a good quality (tell that to my migraines....crying always triggers headaches/migraines).

But holy hell, it has amped up to an art form. They could hire me as a professional mourner.

Please tell me I'm not the only one. My husband is great, my son understands, my daughter...bites her tongue to keep from laughing. Her day will come.

I'm PMSy and I cried that some idiot stuck their baby in the drier, and I bawled that another idiot killed his daughter and himself in the housefire and tortured her mom, and then the other news story about the mom and her 14 year old dying while the crazy man took the remaining 2 kids.  News kills me.  I can't hear about people doing mean things to kids.  I just cry.  Next week I won't cry so easy....  thank goodness!  My biggest fear living in the number one kidnapping state is that someone will try to take my children or hurt them.  When I see it happen to other people I can't imagine the pain.  I'm a sappy girl sometimes...  :((

@MammaTeeRoll, my daughter is 17--and has selective memory about her PMS lol. WOW....her nickname was Drama Queen for quite some time (and then she learned judo...and I was afraid....LOL j/k).

@TorturedbyTWINS OMG I saw that asshole story--only it wasn't a drier it was a WASHER--the damn thing was not only agitating, it was filling with water! According to my news station, no charges were filed. WTF?????

I hear you on 9/11.....I live where there is an air show every year and for years after 9/11, I would hear the planes and just go nuts. I still have a very difficult time watching footage (and I know I'm not the only one) because that was a personally horrible weekend for me (pregnant and having a medical emergency). Every minute of that morning will be etched in my memory forever.

I have a terrible habit of turning on our local 24/7 news station and leaving it on, just for sound while I'm doing other things. I hate watching the news. Too many horrible things...they do highlight some good things but not enough.

After I wrote my OP, I went on to watch Big Bang Theory and nearly died from laughing.....gotta love the rollercoaster of emotions from low to high!
