    Ok so here's the deal. We are buying a restaurant. It comes with everything and has an already established customer base. We will be offering home cooked meals with an introduction of some southern foods to a northern state. So was wondering what you all think in regards to a great business name for this sort of establishment?

    ok, we came up with Darrlyn's for the name, sounds southern but not too southern, so as to not scare away our northern customers. It implements our last name into the business name. Not for sure the final name though, so feel free to keep the suggestions comin. Forgot to mention it's in a small town farming community.

    How about Bella?

    Going off the "southern belle" theme with a twist from "belle"

    @BellaBefana - heeheehee ;)

    Let's go to "Bella" for dinner tonight has a nice ring to it.

    @MammaTeeRoll we will be in WI in a small farming community. We won't be serving any alcohol, at least not at first.

    Not great at this but my first thoughts are north of dixie and northern comfort my thoughts are that they both point out the north but bring the associated southern images to mind

    Yeah, I got nothing. I was trying to think of something creative with Soul, but I'm drawing a blank. However, this is over a month old, so I'm wondering, did you name it already and if so, what?

    @Beam, we have a place here called Bella Union and you often hear things like, "Let's meet at Bella."
