    Well I bet your all wondering why I picked a title such as this....to give you an update I lost my job just a little over a week ago. I am completely out of money but yet I am still going to school for now...I have 3 weeks to come up with $125 ( by June 25th ) and thus I'm freaking out. Plus not to mention the expenses of getting to and from school. My student loan living expenses check comes on June 30th but I have to have the payment paid before then...oh what to do!!!!!

    I would go and talk to them, let them know what is going on and if they could hold on the payment til you get your check.

    Wishing I could help but we aren't in any better situation, have to pay $1800 by this wkend if we want the condo we have been after, but that's the accumulation of both our checks for 2 wks and will have nothing to live on until next payday (the 22nd)...

    Oh, hon, I SO know what you're going through...except I've now been out of work for a year. :(

    Call the creditor and let them know what's happened, and they will likely give you an extension...call them now, so you're not waiting until the last minute, they'll probably go ahead and give you until the 30th.

    Hugs, and good luck, you'll hopefully find something else soon, but it's a tough world out there right now!

    I don't think that would work since it's a judgment set by the courts....I got sued for a wreck and got my license suspended until I started paying the judgment...if my payment isn't there in the assigned date my license gets suspended again until the balance is paid in full which is like $7,000

    Seriously, call them. I have been there and I called and talked to them and they were ok with it because te money was coming from a trustworthy source not just "I have no idea when I can pay" I understand what u are going-through SO has been out of a work for a year and just last week i started a thread with almost the aame title. Pm me if u need to talk. >:D<

    Can you go to wherever you owe the money & ask if they'll accept a postdated check? Bring the letter that states when your student loan will be issued?
