Wow - I really am just glad that this baby is okay. This could have easily become a tragedy.

That's scary!  I'm so glad the innocent baby is okay.  Who smokes weed like crazy and drives with a baby on the roof????  Sometimes I wish there was a test you had to pass in order to procreate :-(

@torturedbytwins I just don't understand some people. She was upset because the baby's father got arrested for driving under the influence with the baby so she decided to smoke more and then drive. Where's the logic in that??

I know!  Sometimes I want to work for CPS just so I can help the children that have parents like this dumb chick.  If I had the money I would foster kids and rescue animals.  I would love to give them the best days they ever had just so they know people care.  I read crap like this and go hug my kids...

Not that I have not been so tired I had to double check if I actually dropped Alex off at daycare, but I was with it enough to check.
    Imperfect and proud of it.

I've seen people put their kids' car seats on top of the car before, I never did, but I have an SUV and couldn't even if I tried (though there are times now she's old I've thought about bungee cording her to the roof,  >:) ).  I don't think it's the smartest thing in the world to do, high or not...

Unless y'all are talking about another one, this happened not terribly far from me...the mom is in jail, CPS has the baby...

@BellaBefana I believe it was Phoenix.

@ChristyJ there have been radio ads running lately reminding parents to check the back seat of cars, especially with summer approaching. That I can see happening, especially if baby is asleep and not making noise, but this just took it to another level.

sadly we lose 2 or 3 every summer because somebody does something stupid like leave a sleeping baby in the car...when it's 115 here, in the shade, the car's are upwards of 130...
