Been here done this but I am going to be alone this time. Already wearing the booties and the hair net. Waiting for the nurse. Actually getting scared. What a dumbass I am. Anyone have irrational fears last second?

In my book, anything that requires you to wear hospital attire automatically means you can be afraid of whatever  you like. That shit is scary. I hate all of it. Worst of all is being put under. I've had to do it once, and it scared me to death.

You're not a dumbass for being afraid. We'll be behind you in spirit!!

@sara let us know how it went. going alone is scary... I do all my health stuff alone (from ER visits to stuff like you're doing) and it's scary... we all need support of some kind. that's my biggest ... whine is that I never have someone to hold my hand. I'd go hold your hand... and record you as you woke up if I were there ;)
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim.

@Luvlyssa, turned out last minute that my best friend didn't have to leave. I had one last year and it was fine. This time, I am nauseous throwing up, still shaky and wobbly when I walk....and I have been home for hours.

@Grits, thank you. I don't like being put under either.
