i give up i cant take the pain anymore
-
My body has days where the pain is so severe that i cant handle it.other days its there but liveable. I desided today to go to the doctor my joints hurt from my neck to my toes.. Not just hurt but scream i can stand it anymore. Im waiting in the waiting room. All i have ever been told is that i have a high amount of inflamation in my blood it can attack anywhere at anytime.. I hate coming to the doctor for.pain because of my.mom who is a full out.pill popper and even though the pain is real and almost crippling i feel like im following in her footsteps. When i was in my early 20s i.loved pain pills and pot anything to make.me floaty and spacy but now i dont.like or care for.the feeling.. I just want the pain to stop... All i have wanted to do is cry all day.. Ive had this.since a kid but as a kid i could stay home and relax.. But now im in so much pain i cant sleep the bed pushing back against my body is painfull.. The chair im sitting in is.pain full.. Im hoping next month when.i start going to.the.chiro i will get some reflief... But right now nothing is helpping..mom of wild children

I was/am in the same boat. I have actually been better for the last couple months but before that I was in pain. I saw different doctors and like you, all the blood tests came back normal except my sed rate was always high, indicating inflammation. After several doctors, I was diagnosed with sero negative rheumatoid arthritis. I was put on RA meds along with Motrin and Vicodin for the pain. It calmed way down for me but I do have flare ups from time to time and its worse just before my periods. I hope you get some answers and relief soon sweetie!!! Big gentle hugs >:D<Stay away from my chocolate and nobody gets hurt!
I think I like who I am becoming... -
@meandmy243: do you see a Rheumatologist? I think that might be a good specialist for you to see, because I'm not sure why all they can come up with is "a lot of inflammation." That could be almost anything, but there ARE a lot of new treatments out there for inflammatory diseases. It might also be your thyroid...right after I miscarried, I started exercising, all my large muscle groups and joints, especially my legs/knees started to hurt so badly I had to request to pre-board the planes because I couldn't even stand there to wait for the priority passengers' boarding. I'd arrive at my destination and take the plastic trashbags out to the ice machine and fill them, oh, and I have STRONG pain pills for gyn problems that I've had available to me for years...they didn't even touch the pain I was in. Anyway, I was getting ready to go through the next round of IVF, and a thyroid panel is standard, so lo and behold, it came back decreased. They started me on thyroid meds and within 1-2 weeks ALL the pain went away. Make your doctors keep looking for a cause, because pain is NOT normal, and there is a cause for it.Bite me, cupcake!

Not all areas of the country are created equal in the medical front unfortunately. Some doctors would rather string you along, healthy patients don't make them money. Second opinions can help or specifically asking about certain ailments.

^ I agree with the ladies...it really isn't the same, sweetie. You need to get some relief & rest.
A friend has RA & in addition to taking meds has started to research anti inflammatory food & vitamins. She started adding those to her diet a few months ago & said she's noticed a big difference in how she feels. I don't know if that would be of use to you, just wanted to pass it on.. -
I dont have ra i was tested for it and lupus... Fibromyalgia runs in my family... But cause we have to many crooked docs in the area the good ones wont proscribe anything for pain.. I did get muscle relaxers for the spazams we have when cuts down on the pain...makes it live able but its still there...mom of wild children

I was going through the same emotions. My parents were junkies but I could barely walk. It was hard to care for my dd and I had been to countless doctors. Finally I found a doctor that would listen and I have m.s. Also I have r.a. And Fibro. At first my blood showed only high inflammation and nothing else. I am on pain management and I don't regret it one bit. My quality of life is so much better now that I can move without crying. If I have a flare I get steroids Injections and a toradol shot. I really hope you get sone relief and do not give up. Keep going to docs and find one that will work with you. A rheumatologist is pricey but worth it. Also make sure u have been tested for lyme disease and m.s. Good luck dear and I'm sending many hugs from WV!! If u ever wanna talk pm me and I am usually on here
