Keep us in your thoughts...

So, I can't sleep and thought I'd post a little prayer request. My ds7 goes in for dental surgery in a few hours. I know it's just a routine outpatient procedure, but he will be going under general anesthesia and with that there are always risks. So, of course I will be a worried mommy until it's all over and my little buddy is awake and alert again. Just asking all my scaries to keep us in your thoughts today. Thanks.

Good luck >:D<Stay away from my chocolate and nobody gets hurt!
I think I like who I am becoming... -
Thinking of you guys! I'm sure it will be fine. Scary, but fine.

Sending good thoughts for a easy and quick surgery for your son. It is always scary, no matter how routine ....

Ohhhh I totally know how you feel momma! My ds6 was in the chair only a few weeks ago. Good luck, and speedy recovery to you both, cause I totally know its almost as hard on you as it is him. -hugs-There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other. Which one are you?

So, we are home and he's doing fine. They had to do more extractions than originally planned, bc they were finally able to get good xrays while he was asleep and discovered that the reason a few of his permanent teeth haven't come in is bc there was really bad crowding under the gums and no room for them to even come in. So, my poor little toothless buddy basically has his front incisors and 1st 4 molars, but lost all the premolars and canines on top and bottom. They think a few will probably come in over the summer now that there is room. I hope so!
When he came out of the anesthesia in the recovery room he was pissed! He couldn't understand why he was feeling the way he felt, and trying to pull out his IV, flailing around and just being very grumpy. On the way home I suggested we stop at a drive thru and get him a milkshake. He got pissed bc he couldn't get a burger and fries. Kid had 8 baby teeth pulled and he wants to go chow down, lol.
So, now I know he's okay and am just hoping he's not too much of a pita today. I'm too exhausted to argue.
