    It's been a very frustrating last 12 months, I'm being a lousy mommy on oh so many fronts, and much of it's stemming from being out of work now for essentially a year.

    So, I need some serious SM mojo to come my way.  I don't think I want a lot:  just to be able to take care of my child without having to be gone (out of town) 3-4 days a week?  The bottom line is that nobody can do a good job with that kind of schedule and I don't want to be away from my child that much, but it's also part of what I do.

    So I'm headed to Houston for the day to interview with a company...the day has NOT started well: overslept 30 minutes because my alarm didn't go off, paperwork was not where I put it to stick in my briefcase, ran a brand new pair of Spanx. So with all that, I stil made it out of the house only 10-15 minutes later than planned. Made it to the airport in plenty of time to get a cup of coffee...ONLY TO HAVE THE WHOLE FUCKING GRANDE STARBUCKS SPILL ALL OVER ME!

    Thank God I'm wearing navy blue...so I'm mostly only wet, hopefully by the time I get there, I be dry...
    Please, oh, please don't let this be an omen of how this day is going to go.
