    My Uncle had a heart attack today. Rushing to NH to see him now. He has a 50/50 chance to make it through the night. The ice therapy didn't work. A two hour drive stands between me and seeing my Uncle for the last time. I'm not religious but dear God, please let him pull through.

    My dad had a heart attack that resulted in quadruple bypass surgery, that was 7 years ago. He's alive and very well today. There is hope!!

    Well I'm still here at the hospital and haven't had a wink of sleep. He's not breathing on his own but his heart is beating on its own. His. Body was not tolerating the ice therapy so we are awaiting the doctors assessment any moment now.

    Thank you, the doctor is going to lessen his sedatives and see how he comes to. If everything goes well, he will need surgery soon. The thing we will be watching for now is how much if any brain damage has occurred. No one knows exactly how long he was without oxygen when he flat lined.

    We drove back home yesterday because he. Was stable but woke up to find out he flat lined twice last night. Rushing back there now.

    We are here in the ICU waiting room right now. He smiled when he saw me :) there just seems to be one step forward and three steps back. Please keep the vibes and prayers going. I truly believe its not his time to go just yet.

    OMG! He flat lined again at 1:30am and 5:30 this morning. Its so up and down, touch and go. They stabilize him then they try to wean him off the meds so that they can try to take the breathing tube out, he flat lines and we are at the same spot again. Its just so much to deal with. My emotions are so erratic. And I feel so bad even saying anything about be because then I imagine how he feels. Laying in the ICU with all the tubes coming out of everywhere. I can only hope he hangs on long enough that my aunt who is flying in from AZ this afternoon can say goodbye. Look at me! I'm such a mess I didn't even bother with paragraphs.

    Thank you ladies, I appreciate all of your support. We will be heading back to NH tomorrow morning. He had a procedure today and for whatever reason they cannot get the blood clot out. As it stands right now, they are going to keep him on blood thinners and try to take the breathing tube out again tomorrow. My Aunt arrived this afternoon so the whole family is here to support him and each other.

    I've been trying to occupy my mind with other things for the past couple of days. Its seems to be working during the day but at night I wake up crying. I feel selfish wanting him to keep fighting because I know he is suffering. These next couple of hours are really make it or break it. Another 2 hour drive to see him and hope his pain subsides. I have no right to complain about anything compared to what he is going through. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

    I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. My uncle is out of the ICU but still in the hospital. He is cognitive and talking. He will need to have a surgery to have something like a pace maker put in. It really is a miracle to me that he's still here and making progress.
