if you do, what kind of work are you doing?

I work from home! It's a challenge fo sho. So does my dh.... It's hard on school breaks and it takes a special kind of person to chain yourself to a desk while at home. It's not for everyone. We did a mass hire of almost 30 people and have already lost 8 in a little over a month.

I do.
I have a website for my art:
http://Designsbylove.vpweb.com/
And I'm also a reporter for the Examiner.
My page is :

Anyone interested in writing articles, it's fairly easy to get the gig! It doesn't pay very well, but every $ earned is one more than I had!

I do - mostly. I am a dental hygienist but right now I'm doing sales for 2 different dental companies. I do travel about once a week or so but I work from home the rest of the time. I've been doing it over a year now & while it's great to be flexible for the kids, I miss the interaction with adults.
Sometimes it's hard to get motivated, too. Especially with the pool in the backyard calling my name B-)

I used/ still kinda do work for ChaCha. It is a text/web service that answers questions for free (to everyone but sprint users). I would get TONS of stupid crazy questions and stuff I didnt want to know (on urban dictionary stay away from anything with Alaskan, and a lot of innocent word.....just stay away from urban dictionary) I was paid 2 cents per question and some days I would make 4-5 dollars an hour but then with some changes with traffic it became 1-3 dollars an hour and it was hard to justify sitting on the computer and NOT get anything done.... while I say this they had other jobs some that were .005 cents up to 20 cents per question as well as a pot where the more question you answer you get a bigger chunk of the pot.
It is legit work I been with them for 4-5 years (I guess I am on a 6 month vacation this year, still work with them just haven't worked) You make your own hours and as long as you have bank acct and internet you can work.

I am a project manager for a clinical research organization - we contract with pharmaceutical companies to manage their clinical trials. I telecommute and it has advantages and disadvantages - I would kill for daytime social interaction - but on the plus side, I lost weight after I moved to being home based because there were no tempting treats in the break room anymore.the secret to happiness is not getting what you want, it's wanting what you get

@twinmommy2004: I'm a contract CRA, you should PM me.Yes, I work from home, too. though I've been working from home for nearly 16 years, I'm getting kind of tired of it. I miss the face to face interaction. I do get some when I'm on site though.Bite me, cupcake!

I work from home on Fridays and will actually be working from out of the country for about 6 weeks right after Christmas. I'm a wonk. I do policy. I can be frustrated with Congress from anywhere. I do have to go on the Hill sometimes but part of my out of the country time, they will be on recess so I definitely wont have much to do.

I work from home four days a week, through a remote network connection like @Etoile. I don't miss the 90-minutes-each-way commute to and from downtown Montreal on an overcrowded train at all."The most essential gift for a good writer is a built-in, shock-proof bullshit detector.” - Ernest Hemingway

Ooooooh. Hmmmmm. All the ones that I found that were fairly recent (within the last several months) have been listed here...I don't recall that specific thread, and if it wasn't one that has been listed already, that may be exactly what the problem is.Sometimes, member deletion will just leave the comments with "Deleted User", but sometimes we are asked to delete the user and all associated content, so that may very well be what happened!I can go look again, though. the keywords make it easier to search.
