    the baby is due in 2 months and we haven't bought anything.I know newborns don't actually need much but we haven't gotten ANYTHING.We're so broke I don't know what to do.I feel horrible


    Please, OC, reach out to us.  There are many, many of us who would be happy to help.  They may be gently used, but that's what we're here for:  to help our fellow mommies and sisters in any way we can.  Please, please let us help.

    We know how fast things can happen and turn around when you're pregnant or have children.  How you can be out to dinner every week one month, then not even able to afford McDonald's the next.

    You can post on freecycle, in your area, what you need or are looking for. I've found things on craigslist too.

    Yes I agree. Check Craigslist and freecycle! I got a lot of things for my son when I was pregnant off of those sites. Also look for a moms group in your area, lots of times they swap things and offer things for free that their child has outgrown. Good luck to you! >:D<
