I'm 7 weeks two days prago with my second baby. Today when I went to the bathroom there was a lot of bright red blood on the paper. I honestly do not know if it came from my butt or not. I don't really have cramps, but I do have a strange nauseous feeling in my stomach, and it is rumbling even though I just ate. (I know it could be morning sickness, but I didn't have it with my first pregnancy or at all with this one yet). Could this be a miscarriage? I know I'm being silly but I'm really worried. I do have an early ultrasound scheduled for July 4th, but I don't know what I'll do if they tell me there is nothing in there anymore.

I had spotting with my miscarriages, but I had spotting for a month with my last pregnancy starting around seven weeks (he's 5 and running around). I hope you and the jelly bean are okay.

a lot of blood isn't a good sign, u can go to the er and they can tell u what's going on but if it is a miscarriage, there's really nothing they can do. when i had mine it started with a little bleeding, not heavy but more than spotting, bright red blood for a couple days. then it got heavier and i started cramping and i knew what was happening. it took a couple more days to be over. is it a possibility it came from ur butt, i know when i was pregnant for dd i was so constipated when i did go i hurt so bad and would bleed. if ur having those kind of problems that could explain the nausea. is there anything coming out of anywhere right now lol

That is what happened w my miscarriages.
Like @shadylane said, go to the ER, atleast there you can get a definitive answer.
(((((Hugs))))) -
Not wanting to scare you, but is my miscarriage started w bright red blood and I went to the ER where it was confirmed. Can you call your ob to see if she can get you in sooner? >:D<

Id def go to the ER for peace of mind. I spotted from week 6-9 with my last pg but it was dk brown old blood. My bff had bright red blood and went to ER and they told her it was a subchorionic hematoma and baby was absolutely fine. Im sure you are finr but save yourself the worry and stress and go get checked out. Ill be sending lots of positive thoughts your way

I called my family doc and they said to go the hospital if I was
bleeding. I'm not bleeding anymore and there is nothing else really
coming out anywhere. I don't really want to go wait 7 hours to be told I
have hemorrhoids or something so I think I'll wait a bit and see if
anything else happens. I'm sure it's nothing, it's just so hard not to
worry. -
Please keep us posted..... Ill be praying for you and your lil one.

if it's just spotting with no pain, cramping, or clotting, you're probably fine. if it continues and/or you're just worried call your doc and move up the u/s, maybe get a serum hCG to check how high your levels are, but many women spot on and off through their first trimester.Bite me, cupcake!

Oh hugs momma! Yes, it is possible that you are misscarrying but it is also possible that it is something else. There are a lot of reasons that a woman may bleed in early pregnancy.
I had a scare about a week ago after sex I started bleeding but it was only temporary and stopped shortly after. Also straining during bm's can cause some slight bleeding and sometimes it's hard to tell exactly where the blood came from. Im about 7 weeks as well and yeah pretty backed up so I wouldn't be surprised if you were as well.
If the bleeding has stopped now I would just try to relax and hope for the best but if it comes back or you start cramping go see your dr. ASAP. Bleeding and cramping were my first symptoms of my ectopic pregnancy (not to scare you just saying if that happens get checked out) -
At 7 weeks with my second pregancy i started spotting and stopping it got worse a week later i was in huge pain my doc did a blood test and an ultrasound and said you must of had a miscarriage a week later i started hemmoraging and passed out... I had an ectopic that burst and i almost bled to death.. Go to the er even.if its stopped.. Seriously go to the er...mom of wild children

Oh I'm so glad I found this site. I already love you all.
:x
I don't really have any cramping or pain so I think I will wait it out till I go to my doc's next week, but if there is even the slightest pain or drop of blood I promise I will drive my self over to the hospital
thanks so much for the support, you guys are the best xoxoxo

I ha a lot of spottin with both mine, they are now happy and healthy fledglings! You could have had a subcorionic hematoma (blood clot between your uterus and placenta) that absorbed. I had two with moo (dd) and was on a modified bed rest from14-17 weeks. From what I understand it happens at he time of implantation because the egf attaches too firmly and tears part of your placenta away from the uterus which causes a pocket of blood.... My doc wasn't too concerned about mine because with all the ultrasounds I had they stayed the same size where as she was growing and soon she got bigger than them... When they absorbed, I had a lot of bright red blood but I was expecting it as the doc told me it would happen. Keep your chin up honey, bleeding isn't good during pregnancy but it doesn't always mean miscarriage. I will add you to my prayers tonight >:D<

Hope everything is still going okay!

UPDATE:
My family doc said my cervix is still closed and the ultrasound technician said everything seemed fine. I have a small tear in my rectum (sorry if this is TMI), and the doc said that is most likely where the bleeding was coming from, so I guess I was worried for nothing.
-
Glad to hear, @amyclark. It's very easy to freak out over every little thing when you're pregnant, but bleeding is something you always want to ask your doc about, even if it does turn out to be nothing!Bite me, cupcake!

So happy to hear the update!
I did spot in my first pregnancy at 10 weeks and it was bright red. My healthy baby is now 11.
Second pregnancy, we lost the baby at 16 weeks. The spotting I had then was dark brown. I ended up having a D&C after the ultrasound confirming the miscarriage. So anything after that was bright red. Fortunately healthy daughter #2 arrived a year later!

GOOD TO HEAR! Expect lots of butthole bleeding with the constipation that comes with pregnancy :DGet me a damn beer.

One thing I would advise, for future so you don't get scared again, is wipe your areas at seperate times. I had a scare like that but with more investigating it was the back end that was spotting. Use different tp for front and back. So you have a better idea of what's going on. And drink plenty of water since that helps move the bowels and keeps them softer.Without reason you have Rhythm and Rhyme the type of girl who knows how to have a good time... You take what you want except no for an answer... And I know first hand you're one hell of a dancer... So calling all cars and low and behold you're a real livewire with a heart of gold

So glad to hear this and hope your pregnancy continues to go well!
