    Fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck fuck! I wish I could scream that out loud but my kids are awake.
    So tired of being broke, monetarily broke, physically broken, mentally broke down. I wish Io could fucking QUIT! Quit all tis bullshit I am so close to cutting its insane.
    Our food stamps were drastically cut, we don't have enough as it is, I applied for WIC and they got locked out of the system so now I have to find a way to get gas $ and go back tomorrow!
    My dh needs to go to dentist 3 towns away early in a.m. to get teeth pulled that are literally making his right arm and face spasm, but OH YEAH, no gas $$.
    just gave the last f our household food to kids, nothing for me to eat im fucking pregnant and hungry and no food so ill be puking up stomach acid within the hour, oh joy.
    As ive stated the food banks in my area once a month and virtually ineffective, and the one church give juice and bread which i will get whenever i can get into town
    I dont get money until monday, and have 3 appointments before then, other than wic and dentist for dh idk how we will survive.
    I need to get to wic so we have food i am so hungry and the kids will be tmrw.
    FUCK im overthis bullshit, always strugging, dh got his hours cut because his boss is pissed that he is seeking a second job.
    BITCH if you gave him more than 3 days in 2 weeks thn he wouldnt neet a second job!

    So sorry, been there myself. The food banks around here are also only once a month and they don't give you much. I know it's hard to ask, but do you have any friends or family that can help you out? It does sound like you're on the right track, you just need a little help for right now.

    No, I have asked everyone I know, literally but no one is in a position to help, which is why I am so frustrated. I have been denied my pleas and requests to even borrow money until Monday all day and I am tired of trying to no avail. Its useless.

    I'm sorry hun, I know how you feel. I am in a bad spot until Tuesday, since it is a long weekend here in Canada. Can you take something to a pawn shop? Do any of the food banks have soup kitchens attached? You can often get a decent meal for a dollar or two there. There have also been times when I have walked five miles to get to a foodbank because I didn't have enough money for busfare.

    @pallasathene no, I live in a very small town, and I have no problem walking, but I am 13 miles from the closest store, and closest pawn shop is 26miles away, not that I have anything to pawn. We have very little, almost all of our belongings were stolen at our last house, but I would try and pawn something if I could. My flute maybe, if I can get into town. I just dont have enough gas, the only downside to living in the middle of nowhere.

    I wish there was something I could do to help you hon, I really do! I have only $17 myself. I'm glad you found someone to take you into wic, you need to keep eating, it's important for baby! I hope your Dh can find that second job soon. Hang tough Mama, things will get better.

    my girls will eat ramen and so will ds1 DS 8 on the other hand hates it. and a pack of hot dogs at the Walmart up here is $.75 so I can get 2 of them and some bread. lol

    @pdxmama I didnt have real computer access at the time, just my phone(which someone kindly pays for me, its just a plain ol phone which is why my typing is so awful btw) but for the next two days I have someone visiting with wifi so I did ask if it was possible to apply *fingers crossed*

    @calliopemarie I know what you mean, once dh gets his check mon we will buy a few things untl we get foodstamps the 7th. Until then I have literally no money at all, for my ob appointment friday I am getting a ride into town and taking the bus 2 towns over with bus tickets I got 2 years ago from a welfare to work program. Glad I saved those suckers!!

    Mine is still up right now. In bed with her daddy,but I hear alot of giggling going on. while it IS cute, I do have to get up for school in six hours.

    My dd3 is still up (tmrw will be hell with this cranky girl) but ds is asleep finally. their bed time is usually 8 so its late for them too but I was too stressed to get them to sleep earlier

    I'm glad you're going to be able to make it to your WIC appointment. That will help. If I was closer I would bring you whatever I could. I too live in the middle of nowhere California and getting from point A to point B without a car is almost next to impossible. Really wish I could help you.

    I don't know if they offer it in CA, but here, they offer farmer's market vouchers...like $20 worth. But you have to ask because so many people got them and didn't use them. I just got mine yesterday and I am sooo glad that those combined with the fruit/veggie allowance on WIC means I'll be able to feed the kiddos till I get paid and SNAP comes in on the 2nd. I HATE the last week of the month!

    @calliopemarie just saw an earlier question. The bus tickets from back then don't expire, but their new ones do. And there is a discount food store 2 towns over, which is where my dr's office is located.

    I will let you know when I go to WIC, they don't open until after 230pm, it is 844am
    @mamateeroll I will try the food bank, itsnot exactly a regular food bank, it is at a family resource center and tey only give food once a month so idk if that will make a difference. And normally they require all members of household be present with i.d.'s birth cert, proof of income, a bill in your name and immunization records. So strict! But I will go there and ask and hassle them, at leastto get enough food for the kids!

    Made it to WIC and was able to get checks, so grateful for that. made traveling all day again today much easier, since I was able to pack peanut butter sandwiches and fruit and carrots for the day long trip. One dr appointment down, 2 to go!
