Seriously I can manage 80 miles a day of insane traffic, that normally doesn't bug me much, but as soon as I hear "mommy mommy mommy, blah blah yatta yatta instert something minusculy important (to him at least) from my ds10 I lose my shit????? He stresses me out to endless points..... I love my DS incredibly so, but I have such a hard time dealing. I don't get it! I can handle a million things at once but he is all million items rolled into 1 tiny ball. Ugh!!!!!!
-
I know what you mean. having the kids on you all the time the second you walk in drvies me nuts!! I get mommy's home!! I'm hungry. blah blah blahi am insane!!! mwahahahaha
-
In traffic you can scream "fuck you" and anything else that comes to mind, but the second you scream that at your kid- you are being a bad parent.
-
The traffic eventually clears, while the child continues to be constantly needy. Also, you have no moral obligation to make sure the traffic turns into something well adjusted and socially acceptable, ya know?

LOL oh my thanks ladies!!!! This totally made me giggle and made so much sense too. Seriously love my kids, but they seriously drive me crazy! Is it September yet????!!!!!

I tune it out as best I can. Sometimes it's impossible. But I know exactly what you mean. As soon as I walk in the door, it's like their dad just disappears...totally invisible. And mommy is the only one they ask for anything!
"I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles." ~Audrey Hepburn -
I think it is the frequency/tone that they talk to. I can listen to other kids but as soon as my DS talks there is just this ringing and I think it is high pitched and it gets worse the longer he talks. I cant wait till his voice changes.

Aha.. I found my missing post..lol. That was supposed to be on the Bitch Board. Sorry bout that all. :\">
There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other. Which one are you? -
LOL @dreamer I was wondering about that
-
:O Dd just keeps talking and talking. Sometimes I tune her out and I don't even know how long it's been. The older daycare kids are even worse, telling me about everything in painful detail. I had one kid who was talking at me, I excused myself to go to the bathroom (I did have to pee, but may have taken a bit of extra time), and when I cam out he was STILL. TALKING. I'm not even sure he noticed I left.
-
The constant talking drives me insane. Some nights I just want to chuck them in bed and walk away but I have to force myself to kiss and hug them. When I go in to check on them before I go to bed I look at them a feel overcome with love for them. The next day they make me want to tear my hair out again.
