reflexology

Ok so ive never gotten into Accupuncture (ummmm too many needles, im not a pin cushion thankyouverymuch), reflexology, or any other of that kind of thing. However, i stumbled on something a few years back by accident. While violently ill with morning suckness (yes i meant suckness lol) i was vomiting in the sink because it was just stomach acids and i wasnt going near bf's toilet with my face. I had the sink running to wash away the smell and the cold water was running over my hand and i started to feel better. Fast forward about 6 years, ive tested this many times and it actually works like a charm. So i decided to see if there was any info out there on WHY this works. Turns out its a well known thing in reflexology. Im wondering if any of the sm's are familiar with any other helpful tips from these type of studies?
FYI if you try this, it can be cold running water, ice, frizen veggies or any other cold substance and you are apparently supposed to put it over your wrist right where the lines are at the base of your palm. It helps vomiting for ANY reason. Morning sickness, hangover, stomach virus, what have you. -
I also discovered that little tidbit by accident! It's a good trick! Also, I've heard that there is a spot on your hand, the meaty part between your thumb and first finger that, if squeezed with the right amount of pressure, can have the same effect. I've never quite been able to do it, though, so I'm sure it works, but only if you know exactly where the pressure point is, which I do not.

That is an area you can use to relieve headaches. There are also some on the back of your neck too
