My room is standard builder's off white with random kids marker scribbles all over it, cotton bedding with black curtains that match our black leather bed. Super boring!

My bedroom is sky blue.  And sometimes we do have sex 3 times a week and then sometimes we go 3 weeks without having sex at all.  Wee are a little sporadic.

Yep, they corrected for every single other variable in people's lives and concluded that sex frequency is related to bedroom paint colour. Suuure they did. 8-|

I would LOVE to paint my room a dominant color like purple or red!

4.25 times per week ey? I wonder what the .25 is for... being felt up perhaps?

I can see that though... certain colors/fabrics encourage a sensual/sexual feeling. Of course if I get softer sheets I'm going to want to sleep more, maybe sleep naked.. which might lead to more sex. Oh, I see what they did there.

My bedroom is pink! I'm not talking a nice pink either it's a really gross pink. Been like that for 7 years now... We have the paint to paint it red but haven't gotten around to actually doing it yet. The worst part is that dh is a freaking painter and it still hasn't gotten done!

A dark sky blue. We definitely do not have enough sex, mainly because I am never in the mood.

@unforgiven... I was thinking that might be "failed" attempts. Maybe the hubs went for it and was denied?  Or, MAYBE masturbation counts!!!  :))

    I crack myself up.

According to that study we should be having WAY more sex than we are.  That is if LOTS of red accents count.  Most often it's just a lot of I-)

Off white, well according to landlord its "antique white" which is a fucking fancified way of saying off-white.

And I despise silk, nylon and poly bedding, it must be cotton. Not that we ever actually do anything in the bed anyhow. H is paranoid cuz the kids are next door.

Maybe people with purple bedrooms are more likely to lie about their sex life...

I have a blood red walled bedroom with a metallic gold ceiling. My sheets are cotton, my pillowcase is purple silk and my body pillow is plush/cashmere.
I just went through a 3 month spell of no sex.

    However
    #1 I share a room with DS8
#2 I do not live with SO
#3 I did not choose the colors of the room or the materials of my pillows.

    So who knows!
You and me, we go way back.

That would probably work if we had sex in the bedroom. I much prefer to use every other room available ;)

In high school my bedroom was purple. Now it's Rental White. I hate it, but I'm too lazy to paint it a color I like and then paint over it when we move. LOL
I'm as sexy as a burp mid-kiss. Watch out!

    I shit you not.

It was like that when we moved in, and I haven't had time to repaint in there yet.

We have dark brown floor to ceiling bookshelves along two walls...the pieces of wall that do show are light brown.
Bedding is the same, light/dark brown - sex a couple times a week depending on stress levels.
Sometimes we have no sex for weeks, other weeks were at it like rabbits every day - just depends whats going on in our lives at the time.
    I shall futterwacken...vigorously*

HA grey lol. Mind you, that's fine since I live with my parents for now and share a room with DD. So really...no sex in my room anyways. As for bedding, I have everything but pink.
  • I'm really hoping this isn't true cause I am planning on painting our bedroom Grey to match our Grey Duvet cover and look classy with all of our white trim. It is currently builder's grade beige/tan. Yuk!

I don't feel like our sex has anything to do with the color although I will say I've found in recent years if the bedroom is clean I get it more. That goes for the whole house though. If I clean all of the sudden my husband gets in the mood, lol.

LOL, guess I'll be changing the color of dd's room before she's a teen!

Mine is blue with soft buttery yellow.  I like "cool" colors for bedroom's because they're most conducive to restfulness, guess they're also conducive for sex, though sadly, I wouldn't know as I'd fuck up this studies curve and likely be thrown out as an out of range value...<<sigh>>

Mine is blue-green with tan carpet and white trim.  It's more restful than sexy, although I have to agree with @beachymomma1275, when I clean he gets in the mood.
