I love this, the whole issue was stupid to me from the start, but charging 10 cents to get around the law is genius and makes me want to drive to SF just for a happy meal LMAO

The entire reason I treat my kids to McDonalds is for the unhealthy burger, fries and toy! What a stupid law.

Right?? its a treat! but the few people who cant seem to control what their children eat ruin it for the rest of us lol.

i think that law is stupid as well. eating mcdonald's or any other fast food once in awhile is not a bad thing. it's up to the parents to monitor a child's healthful intake, not a restaurant chain. it's my job to make better choices for my kids, not the responsibility of fast food places.

if i wanted a healthier option, i'd keep my kids and myself at home and cook, or else go somewhere else. fucking government.

I love when the gov tries to take over for parents.....a small way this time, but annoying and ridiculous nonetheless. The lunches I ate as a kid at school were not low fat cardboard crap, like my son is expected to eat (he doesn't, he brings it from home). And we werent fat....because our parents cared and we were active.

Sorry....but I totally disagree with that, I'm barely in my mid 20s, it wasn't that safer for us, we were always supervised. I am the "Adam Walsh generation". My parents both worked full time, they made time for us to have sports and physical activity. Outside is great, but there are other alternatives. Parents are the primary reason kids are not getting enough activity.
