Has anyone read the book; 'Why love matters - how affection shapes a baby's brain' by Sue Gerhardt?

  • I haven't, but i did read a study that said children who are given plenty of love and affection are more intelligent. I believe it.

Any type of book that tells me *how* to be a parent gets read with a grain of salt. I take what I like & leave the rest lol. I think each family dynamic is so different that no single book can be THE go to guide. @irishlass you are NOT screwing up your child! You love him as much as any mother could ever love a child and thats all that truly matters :-)
