Don't put it off!

If a friend or family member is sick, don't put off talking to them!
Last week my dad told me his cousin was sick and not expected to live much longer. I visited them in Texas in 2004 and had kept in touch via emails over the years, but then they stopped. I got involved in my life and kept forgetting to email.
Just moments ago I got an email from my dad, his cousin died this morning. I had planned to email sometime this past week, but again, let my life take over and I just plain forgot. Now it's too late.
Don't make the same mistake.I love purple; I love cats. Imagine if cats were purple ... -
I am sorry @AloneOverseas I am always worried this can happen to me anytime. Do not be hard on yourself, it is very difficult to keep in touch with everybody when you are in another country.

I know how you feel..I meant to go visit my grandma last summer and never found the time or money...then she passed away in august. Never assume there's time. I'm sorry for your loss.

My exact thoughts today as I learned that a dear childhood friend died unexpectedly. I never made the time to see him when he was back in the area. I will always regret that. :(
@AloneOverseas ... I'm so sorry for your loss.

I completely agree. My uncle passed away on Wednesday & I thought he was doing okay, so I hadn't gone to visit recently.
Instead I spent the day breaking down at work.
Never take for granted that someone will be there tomorrow.
@AloneOverseas, sorry to hear about your second-cousin.
