    Girl, I have seen way to many people getting charcoaled & fucking up their livers accidentally.... What are you on & why & I'll see if I can put my nurse noodle to good use.

    I just had a surgery yesterday and I am in really horrid pain. 

    Like, this pain can not compare to the pain I felt from having a c-section. 

    I was proscribed Vicoden and first of all...that pissed me off. I told the doctor that I did not want Vicodin because it does not ever work for me. I like taking percocet for pain management because it always works well for me. But the doctor didn't have his prescription pad in the office (he said he left it at home???) and so he had to proscribe me Vicodin because apparently doctors can not call in percocet because it is so strong....thus I take three  instead of one.

    what's the dosing on it? It's not really how much of the narc you're taking so much as the Tylenol in it (ironically). If you have 5/500's, the 500 is in reference to the amount of Tylenol mg's in it. You can fry the liver if you take more than 4 grams (4000 mg) in a 24 hour period... Did he give you any anti-emetic's (so you don't puke)? You can alternate stuff to keep pain down, even Motrin alternating with the Norco's. And fuck that doctor, you call him, demand the on-call number and bug the shit out of him! hugs
