OMG it's real! BF and I went to BRU to look at pack and plays and get an idea if some of the items we have been eyeing for our baby registry... Walking around seeing ALL the people and kids and the stuff.. It finally hit me, I'm having a freaking baby! I mean in theory its always something i know but seeing the little things for it and the room it'll take up it hit like a ton of bricks. I'm having a baby... We're having a baby...

It still feels weird to say out loud that I have a daughter. It's so freaking surreal.

For me it was when the old lady who lived below us knitted tiny clothes.  It was sooo tiny in my hands.  Then i realised.

The first thing I bought for baby was a bassinet that I saw at a garage sale. I set it up right beside my bed immediately, and though, in four months, there is gonna be a BABY in there! Congrats Mama!

Not sure how far along you are but wait till you start feeling the little one moving inside of you.   :D  That is what actually did it for me.

    Congrats!!

Lol. I got an OMG feeling when we decided to try, when I saw 2 pink lines, when I felt the first little kicks, when we set up the room, when other people bought us baby stuff, when we went to the hospital (scheduled csection, breech), when I saw and held her, when we brought her home with us, when my mom LEFT after the first week and lots if random times after. I'd see/hear her and realize, wow, I'm a MOM! It'll hit me again when she starts school, I'm sure!

It really hit me when DS was 13mths and we had to take him to the hospital after he had a really bad allergic reaction (probably to penicillin). He was so swollen and was cradled in my arms. My heart almost burst with love (and worry). I never wanted to let go of him!
