My little preemie.
-
Landon will be hopefully be home by the end of this week and I'm still trying to get everything we need for him! Does anyone have any boy preemie outfits, not sleepers, they'd want to get rid of/sell? Or newborn sleepers? His legs are too long for preemie sleepers. I would pay shipping (thru PayPal). We just can't really afford to go buy new right now. And there aren't any at the consignment shops around us.
You can send me a PM if you have anything!
Thankyou!

I wish I could help but my preemie was a girl. Glad he's coming home soon! :) >:D<

@BeerWench- sadly no. I wish though! Thatd be nice. They send him home with diapers and wipes and what not thats left over from him. And his paccis and all that. thankyou:)
@Katz_Meow- thankyou! :) -
My preemie was a girl too, so sadly I don't have any boy clothes. He'll grow fast though and if it's warm where you are, you won't need much...some undershirts and diapers and light receiving blankets. also, if you have a Carter's outlet, you can completely outfit him (and then some) for less than $100.I'm sure we have some SMs that have some boy clothes though.Bite me, cupcake!

@BellaBefana- we don't have a Carter's outlet :( I looked online and they're pricy on there. I went to the children's place the other day hoping to score some deals and I didn't lol. :( all our bills r due this week so any shopping is out of the question until next week.

have you tried craigslist of freecycle?

I don't have ANY preemie clothes, and I have a little girl, so I'm no help either. I'm really sorry!BUT, there should be some pregnancy resource centers in your area. Give them a call. They almost always have extra clothes, car seats, and various essentials on hand for moms in need. Also, the nurses should know of some resources you can access to get some help with clothes and such. Just ask! If one doesn't know, ask another. Somebody knows! Explain your situation. It is not uncommon for parents of a preemie to be unprepared for a small, early baby. It's definitely not the first time they have seen this, so don't feel bad!!Also, since it is Summer time. You really don't need that much and he will grow out of preemie clothes FAST. Walmart or Target will have good deals on packs of onesies and sleepers and socks. Also any thrift stores in the area? Family/friends that have had little boys in recent years? You could even post on your Facebook. Most moms are always willing to pass things like clothes and baby gear on to someone who needs them!! You could even return them or pay it forward when you're done. Whatever you're most comfortable with. Good luck with everything!! This will all work out :)

My Preemie came home in the summer weighing 5 lbs and I bought newborn size clothes. In two weeks she gained two and a half lbs and filled out the newborns, by 3 weeks she moved to 3 mos clothes and then a month later was in 6 mos. She stayed in 6 mos size for a year. From experience i say spring for newborn onesies and swaddle blankets and wait til he levels out to get real outfits. Preemies need swaddling for comfort almost 24 hrs a day anyway, no one will see their clothes!You and me, we go way back.

I might have a few things I will check in a couple hrs and get back to you, it wouldnt be many but id say I have ten or so newborn and preemie items from my baby boy
-
@whodatis- the NICU hasn't ever swaddled him and he does fine. He was two months early and is already a week away for being a month old. He's gained weight but you can't tell. His face is the only thing that's filled out. When he was born, you could see his bones and his ankles were so small, he was all bone. Hes really small, just long. So preemie clothes work best, since his upper torso is so small. His legs are just really long.
@mamamelody- okay thankyou:)
@otakuHime- it's okay :) my daughter had some but I got rid of them. I know most people don't keep them. -

@skatermom-He was born at 32 weeks. He weighed 4 lbs 8.3 oz. he's wearing preemie onesies but his legs are too long for preemie pants/sleepers. So he has to wear newborn in those lol
