I hope this posts because my last one didn't. :-( anyway I work 2nd shift & I have to take my dinner with me because I get one 15 min break. As i'm getting ready to get in the shower I see ds9 sitting at the table mindlessly eating chips. I tell him if he's really hungry he needs to eat 'real' food. He gives me a sad face & says ok. I tell him he can have a few chips no big deal but I don't want him eating the whole bag. I get in the shower, get ready for work. As i'm running out the door I go to the fridge to grab my dinner. Its gone. I look around & see the empty container in the sink. Yep he ate my dinner. His reasoning? 'you said you wanted me to eat real food'. Can't argue with that can you? *sigh* I had grapes for dinner. no time to fix anything else

Ahhh I hate it when that happens ! DS scarfed down my dinner the other night. I was sure he would be asleep for a while and I would fix him something when he woke up. He woke up right when dinner got done, you want to share with mommy, sure. He is 4 how much would he eat ? ALL OF IT!!! At least I had a frozen pizza to heat up !" Wibbly wobbly timey wimey ......." My lunch today was last nights left over salad. The boys suddenly decided they wanted lots of salad last night (haven't other nights!). I had to take it away and say NO more salad for you two! That's my lunch! Lol. They are 6 and 8. Go figure ...I love purple; I love cats. Imagine if cats were purple ...

Haha, we started doing tax when my oldest was around 1.5. Basically his daddy and I wanted to taste what he was eating so we would take a bite and say mommy or daddy tax. When he was about 3 he went and took some food off my plate, just as I was about to get on him about touching my food he goes, "Zimmy tax." Can't really argue with him on that one.@momofdbb and aloneoverseas, I can so relate. I can't tell you how many times I've lost my meal or dessert to not one but two little boys or didn't make a lot of something because from past experience they just were not that into it only to have them all of a sudden love it leaving me with next to nothing for lunch the next day. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Said something to dh about it & he said he saw the empty container in the sink & looked for more in the fridge. He said if ds hadn't eaten it he would have. Oh well. :-S

I would be SO annoyed if my son did that! But I deal with the opposite problem. My kid is almost 9 and he eats like a bird, and only certain things. I wish one day I could say no more salad for you! Haha. It bugs me that he eats the same stuff and won't try all the food I cook.

@Bassmom: could be worse, at least he's eating salad!Bite me, cupcake!

@bellabefana he doesnt eat salad, i meant i wish i could say he was eating too much (bc one day he would actually eat it). Ah well, i just keep hoping one day he will expand his horizons :)

I'm really lucky with mine, there's very little she won't eat, @Bassmom, even at 3, she's always been a good eater, and loves things that I won't even eat!Bite me, cupcake!
