She could really use some good thoughts please.....

She has mono....and because it is the last two weeks of school she has so much work to do and  several projects due.  All she wants to do is sleep..... And she is supposed to give a speech today and then perform an original song (singing and guitar) and her glands are so swollen she can barely speak. She spoke to her teacher and the teacher said "don't worry about it, you are so far ahead of everyone anyway"  (not sure what that means though)   But dd13 hates not be able to give 100% to everything, and she loves to perform and was looking forward to it.
She was also asked to sing at graduation next week...she really wants to but who knows???
She has been going to school, the MD  said it was OK to...
I hope she gets better quickly, she leaves for 2 weeks of sleep way camp on the 24th, she will be so upset if she is still sick.

Sucks to see your "baby" feeling so badly.....

Aww! Poor baby! I remember when I had Mono... it was the most miserable experience in my life, and it takes SO long to get over it! :(

    Hugs and good thoughts!

And tell her just to drink lots of water and sleep as much as possible so she can get better faster!

Hope she feels better son. My son had it last year. It took a long time for him to feel better.
Stay away from my chocolate and nobody gets hurt!

I think I like who I am becoming...

Congrats to her! To be able to pull that high of a grade while so sick is a huge achievement =D>
I prefer not to think before speaking. I like being just as surprised as everyone else by what comes out of my mouth.

    Poor baby.

FYI, the Jolly Rancher popsicles (pop ice) are amazing. :)
