    So I got a free John freida hair color foam from my local store through one of their deals (mperks for those with meijers). I hadn't used it yet cuz I usually need two boxes to cover all my hair and didn't have 12.00 to but another box. So anyway SO says I should try it anyway cuz the girl in the pic has long hair too. I laughed at his naiveté. We all know the pics lie right? Turns out this foam covers all hair- even if it's super Iong. I used one box and there was so much of it! Plus, no harsh chemical smell. The color is beautiful and I will definitely be using this from now on. Wanted to hate with u all :D

    I got a coupon in the mail for a free bottle and I loved it too!! I am so leery of drug store brand hair color typically, but this shit rocks. I have super long, super thick hair and one worked for me as well.

    I may be checking this out...I have a "patch" of white hairs by my right temple...I'd like to get rid of it for our vacation. Maybe even go lighter...oh now I'm excited!

    It "expands" to give all over coverage. It's awesome.

    Also, I cracked u cuz some women always look in the mirror. I'm the badass went out to the store with wet hair and didn't even know what it looked like lol

    @imwendy and @callieflower82 I will post a pic later today. I'm a total greaseball head right now cu dd6 brushes the crap out of my hair (unlocking the scalp oils) while I was flat ironing dd5 and then promptly woke me up at 5 am because she was not feeling well so I didn't have a chance to shower and tht makes the color look darker.

    It didn't get as light as I thought it would, but the foam itself worked great. I think I'll try a lighter brown or darker blonde the next time.

    I got another free haircolor on mperks. Went with the dark golden blonde. Actually came out almost exactly my natural color which i call dirty blonde. Ugghh not impressed. Definitely needs to be lighter and i cant buy one. Anyone have experience on how to fix it? I literally just finished drying it so im hoping it wont be too late

    shampoo with a clarifying shampoo.  several times.  it sometimes will lift the color a bit since it is designed to 'strip' yuck out of your hair.  avoid using the shampoos for color treated hair until you get it lightened a bit or you decide to leave it as they tend to protect the color.

    Is this permanent or semi-permanent color?  I use Natural Instincts semi-permanent color but am unhappy with the 'improvements' they made to their line.  I'd love to try something different!

    I think permanent. I love the product. I wont use anything else any more. The conditioner after smells so good and makes my hair super soft. I only use about 1/3 of the bottle and use the rest every few weeks
