    I have to try to remember what I did when I invented these strawberry shortcake cupcakes yesterday, because they are awesome.

    @finallyfree2bme I SOOO miss good cajun food. I am originally from Texas and the two things I miss about it most are Mexican food and Cajun food. People up here just have very bland tastes

    I miss the food from new Orleans that is for sure. I lived in metairie and went to college in chalmette. I miss Dots diner and raising canes! Man that canes dipping sauce is priceless. Oh and the crawfish ugh...I learned how to eat and cook while living there.

    I would love to buy this cookbook.

    Unfortunately, I don't have any amazing recipes to share. The one time I made some amazing lemon pepper chicken type soup I didn't write everything down that I put in the crock pot so I have no way to recreate it.

    There was a simple pork chop recipe that I got on here from a thread on recipes. It was delicious. I can't remember who even posted it but it was great. That could go in here.

    Grr! I LOVE to read recipes and get ideas, i own loooads of cook books, but when i cook myself i just totally make it up! Like completely just wing it! I made @curious' AWESOME rhubarb rib sauce recipe and i know next time now I will just estimate stuff. I did anyway! here we dont measure in 'cups'. I just used a plastic mug of ds's! I figured it was a cup, it would do! And aslong as the proportions were right it would be grand ;)  
    Im going to borrow my mum's cookbook and see what ive made/modified and see what I can do to submit :)

    @nikki - I have a ton of recipes I could submit, but I don't have pictures of any of them.  At this point, I'd have to cook each one and take a picture.

    Maybe remove the picture requirement and we'd get more responses??

    @nikki I think that is actually a really good idea. I have plenty of recipes with no pictures - they are nice - but not necessary I don't think

I have a bunch of pics on fb of food that I made (cuz I was THAT girl for a minute lol) and I can steal them from fb and load them on photobucket to put here. I will title them so u know what they are. Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but I am an aspiring chef so I will make it worth it by giving u LOTS of recipes :D

    @lesomom I considered starting a book/food blog but I didn't know how and I didn't know if I could keep up with it. Plus I was told u should limit it to one or the other and if it's books it should be one specific genre. How the hell am I supposed to narrow down my interests?? Lol oh well now I can use that time to read or cook instead of blogging about it :)
