Her teeth are fine. No chips and tightly sealed. She is snuggling in for the night.we are watching ghostbusters together lol. I am not sure how appropriate but she loves this movie! We read 3 books to balance it out. Any soft food ideas? That won't burn her lip or that is easy to eat? Thanks again everyone for the push I needed

Well I have $21.48. Till Tuesday then I get $100.00 in mail from a friend. Hoping Tuesday. I need milk and I have a quarter tank gas. Chlo has fruit cups and I do have oatmeal and pasta. My friends church brought dinner. I think my dd is the only baby that hates mashed potatoes but loves French fries lol.

The church gave me the old fashion oats, and spaghetti noodles with a can of sauce. Those oats are so bland I wish I had some sugar or brown sugar

Do you have any maple syrup or even any juice? That will make it edible. How the hell did I miss this going on today???? So glad you're safe. >:D<

Oh, and when you get bored later, and need some reading, look up Bipolar Disorder. I'm not a psychiatrist nor a psychiatric nurse, but my father was Bipolar. And holy balls, dude was batshit crazy without medication. Suicidal one minute then laughing and enjoying life to its fullest the next. Medication was the only thing that made him human again. It came out of nowhere too (or so it seemed).

I have strawberry smuckers ice cream topping that's just like jelly! Would that work? I feel so pitiful. I hate living life like this. I'm just going to cry a lil bit alone on my kitchen floor.

As long as the wee one doesn't have an allergy to strawberries! That sounds good actually (I'm an oatmeal nut).

And go ahead and curl up on that floor and have a good cry. You deserve it, and you need to get it out.

Ooh, even better. You can either cook it in the juice or cook it in water then add a bit of juice to cool it off and add flavor

You did the right thing! Proud of you. Nobody wants to have anyone committed, but for the safety of your children, yourself, and him it had to be done. Stay strong and keep us posted. As everyone else has already stated, we are here for you!!

chlomom, it is great that you left.  I was the victim of domestic violence for over 21 years.  I personally am so proud of you for getting help for you and your daughter.

Please continue to be vigilant in protecting you and your daughter.  Be prepared.  The shelter that we dealt with actually gave us emergency cell phones, that were good for 911 use only.

My ex was on a 5150 hold and one of his friends is a doctor.  Long story short, he got him released and then the ex ran to his parents, where I had him served as well.

If he contacts you at all, via text or phone, make sure that you contact the police immediately.

If you don't feel safe, call a shelter.  I used houseofruth.org in Maryland.  I don't want to scare you, but please don't let your guard down.

    Take Care.

    Mary :-)

I applaud you! It takes a lot for women to do what you did so GOOD FOR YOU! :) if you need any help at all finding resources... or just a hug come find one of us. @mammateeroll is our mama bear here right now. she'll find everything you need (as will I!)

Remember today very well. Be proud of who you are! You did the right thing. He needs medication. Hopefully the jail will put him in for a 72 hour hold at the psych unit.

That said... a lot of people have lived with these diseases for so long they know how to act to get out of things ... including getting you to let him back in. Be strong! Do this for your baby :)

Please go to a food bank first, before you go anywhere else. Many of them have social workers there, or know them by name. A food bank won't let you go empty handed, and may be able to do some of the paperwork for you for food stamps, and anything else you need. They can call people they know, and smooth the way for you. Bring your I.d., and all legal papers From today, and your last medical bill.

Yes, I second this.  The food bank in my city can actually do the entire food stamp application and interview for you so you don't even have to deal with the welfare office at all... but sometimes the welfare office is faster.  Either way it's a good starting point and there's nothing worse than being at the welfare office alllllllll day long with a hungry, cranky little one.  I have done that!

So proud of you for taking this step!  And what is it with the mothers of guys like this?  They are always just soooo blind about their "little boys".  ::::sigh::::

Well I had a doctors appointment today and came home to a fully stocked kitchen. I only have one person that has a key to my house besides me. A dear friend whom gathered a bunch of her close friends and all of them went grocery shopping for dd and I. I am so grateful I cannot even put what I'm feeling into words. My doctors office said they will not charge me for my next couple appointments until my medical card comes through. I feel like buying lotto tickets its been such a lucky day. Thanks for all the support everywhere!!
