      • Helen Russo Scary Mommy Nation has been developed to help mom's in need. Just before Thanksgiving, Jill Smokler, "The" Scary Mommy was so taken by the many confessions from people about the tough times and being unable to provide Thanksgiving dinners for their families, she went on a mission. She was able to secure $20,000 in donations which helped to provide Thanksgiving dinner for hundreds of families. Please take the few seconds to vote for her to receive this grant. 
        Out of those original donations, Scary Mommy Nation was born and currently she is helping families provide food for their children during the summer months they don't have school lunch programs available. These are working families who aren't looking for "hand outs" but just a little "hand up."
