    My DH drinks Pepsi, therefore the one time per week or so that I have a soda, it's Pepsi. I think both are too sweet, guess that's why I don't drink them much. I'm a coffee girl. ~O) I drink it all day.

    Coke all the way!!  Diet Coke being the flavor of choice.  Pepsi has a funky taste to me and Diet Pepsi is just plain icky to me.....especially hate Pepsi/Diet Pepsi if I am having drinks - if that's only what the restaurant/bar has to offer I will opt for beer.

    @gingersnap Product containing the "cell line" won't be released until ~2013, so no they aren't "currently". Medically, I could understand, some things, but to put it my food for flavor? Most (if not all, I may have missed some a few in researching) food companies voluntarily or were voted to break their contracts with Semonyx buy the same board that is allowing Pepsi to continue. So I think I will stick with Coke.

    Coke if its from a fountain, pepsi otherwise. And omg diet coke is soooo gross. I can't drink diet unless it's Pepsi in a can and I've cold

    I'd like to clarify. The flavor enhancers will not contain even a molecule of baby fetus. NONE.

    Human Embryonic Kidney cells (HEK 293 cells), are a line of cells widely used in pharma and biotech. The line was developed from *one* electively aborted fetus in 1973. The company Senomyx has developed/ is developing a method to use the cells as an artificial taste tester. What I mean is, the cells "taste" the flavor enhancer the company is developing and they use that feedback to determine whether or not the flavor enhancer needs more work. So, basically, the cells stand in for a human taste tester. 

    Now, I can understand if, on religious or philosophical reasons you choose to not patronize a company that uses a derivation of fetal cells for any purpose. I respect that. However, it is grossly misleading to state that the flavor enhancer will contain cloned fetal cells.

    Coke, hands down...and preferably Coke bottled outside the U.S. since they still use cane sugar.

    Edited to include:  fountain Coke is better because it's fizzier...i guess the vendor can adjust the ratio of coca cola syrup to carbonated water.  I'm old enough to remember Coke in glass bottles, all the time, everywhere and when they used real sugar...I really miss that Coke, which I why I'll spend $1/bottle on Coke bottled in Mexico!  

    Mind you, I have nothing against high fructose corn syrup... I've researched how they make it, and don't have a problem with it.  And  sugar is sugar, but in pop it does seem to make a difference:  Coke from a can (made here in the good old USA) is no where near as fizzy as Coke from a bottle from Mexico...

    Coke. My bf only drinks pepsi or orange soda. So I always have both in the house. Not a big fan of pepsi, but I will drink it. But my bf refuses to drink coke. If I run out of pepsi for some reason he pouts like a little boy till I get more.
