I knew a guy named Diamond.  In high school we had a frequent substitute teacher named Harry Pitts.  My ex-boyfriend's dad's name is Wind.  There is a woman in my DH's family named Dickie.

I always feel bad for DD13. I named her Alexxis. Yes, two X's. We had decided since H's middle name is Lex, and his dad's name is Lex, Alexis would be a cool way honor them, or whatever. Then at the last minute, while I was medicated, I threw an extra X in there. I sure hope she doesn't wind up a stripper or porn star or super FAT, cuz those X's might haunt her. I even told her if she wants to legally change it later, I'll pay for it.

My DD's name is Angelia, she is sooooooo far from an Angel! lol people ask me all the time if I named her Angel for the irony? uh yeah my crsytal ball told me what she would be like in 15 years

he also said if we were to have another baby boy, he would be called Tiberious. He likes the nickname 'Ty'

My friends sister just had a baby... she named him Cody Shepard _____  Now Shepard isn't her last name, it's short for Shepard Commander because they love video games. It's not that strange, just amusing.

I get looks for DS's name, Seamus. I'm in MA so I'm not sure how people haven't heard Seamus before but it seems only older people have ever heard his name before lol

@sunnymomma even worse is he wanted it in a symbol form like a squiggly line and a dot. And he was actually so serious about it that we fought about not adding it as a middle name for week.

I had a Dr. named michael michaels. My mom taught kindergarten for 15 years and said that all michaels are trouble. she begged me to get another Dr. But he was a specialist and the only one my ins covered so I was stuck with him. So far in life EVERY michael I have met has been some kind of trouble, so this guy was double trouble!

My sister had my niece last week and named her Astrid Blue. Ummm ok, when i asked what her inspiration was she said Astrif is an old world name and it cant be abbreviated and Blue is more current. Suuuuure pick a name that the kids are going to torture her with. And if your going old world why couldnt you stay there for a middle name??
I prefer not to think before speaking. I like being just as surprised as everyone else by what comes out of my mouth.

@torturedbytwins I like the name caliber. My ds10 name is wrangler. No not after the jeans, Jeep, or anything with the brand of wrangler, but after the lifestyle of living on a ranch and being in rodeo's. That's the way Dh was raised. I hated it the entire time I was pregnant with him, but as soon as he got here there was no other name that could have been a better fit to his personality. I often find I'm having to wrangle him in LOL

My father said it would "build character." Thanks motherfucker. I guess all those fights I got in built character alright! >:(
