I used to feel icky if I skipped shower for a day. Now sahm of 2, I shower once a week. Don't care anymore. Just wipe underarms & vag and change clothes. DH works out of town and home only weekends.

Looking back I think DS only survived his first year because I would tell myself "okay, you have to stay sane/keep him alive for his first ______ (insert holiday/event)". After that 1st bday I found him more tolerable!
