When your two children are happily decorating a flower pot
for their grandmother’s birthday,
Be careful to mind the third child
who has his own mischievous way of contributing.
Happy birthday, Mom. We love you so much!
Hope you enjoy your tissue-paper flowers.

It’s SUCH a good things he’s cute, Julia. And an even better thing that I have a blog that allows me to find these things sharable rather than disastrous! :)
That’s the problem with three… You can never really keep an eye on all of them at the same time. Great visual evidence though.

When my husband goes out of town, it is difficult to get to all of the blogs that I would like to comment on. Mostly, I simply become a stalker and keep up with reading, but not commenting….
I have to tell you that I loved your post on Twitter. There wasn’t a single point that I disagreed with and it totally made me laugh out loud. Also seems that you have quite the debate on your hands with vlogging!
Hope you and your family have a lovely birthday celebration with your Mom.

It was a pot from the Hallmark store that came with a pen to personalize. You bake it to let the pen set. In retrospect, I should have just had them paint their own and decorate with paint pens– there’s no reason for a flower pot to be dishwasher safe, after all. Duh.
What a great gift idea and love the tissue paper flower improvisation. I’m sorry but I couldn’t help giggling. Your kids are gorgeous and I’m sure Grandma will love it all the same. :)
