The Orange is the New Black pair wed in a private ceremony over the weekend

Over the weekend, Orange is the New Black star Samira Wiley wed girlfriend and writer for the show, Lauren Morelli, in an intimate Palm Springs ceremony. The flawless couple, who began dating in 2014, had a confetti filled ceremony to celebrate their shared love of Funfetti cake, surrounded by family and friends.

Seriously, could they be any more gorgeous?

The answer is no, they could not. And these wedding ensembles are perfection.

According to Martha Stewart Weddings, the couple’s nuptials were officiated by Wiley’s parents. The gorgeous couple said their “I dos” and then exited the ceremony to Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It.” Only to out-do themselves moments later during their reception entrance, walking in to Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”

For anyone who is an Orange is the New Black fan (ME, ME!), their wedding is the perfect ending to a fairytale romance. The two began dating on set after Morelli realized she was gay while on set writing for the Netflix series. She came out to family and close friends and later that year wrote an essay in Mic when she began dating Wiley. “After lugging around a basket full of shame and guilt for the last year, there was a lightness that came with realizing that I could choose to replace my negative framing with honesty and grace,” she wrote.

Morelli said that when she began writing Piper’s character, a woman also struggling with her own sexuality, it became “a dizzying blur of life imitating art. Or vice versa — it’s hard to say sometimes.” She and Wiley have been together ever since.

Morelli’s ability to connect with the characters and vulnerability comes through in her writing, making it one of the most popular Netflix series ever. Wiley’s character Poussey, one of the most mesmerizing.

The newly married pair donned outfits by Christian Siriano and their guests dined on tables filled with flower and citrus fruit centerpieces, garland, and colorful, mismatched glassware. While the brides’ shared their first dance, more confetti exploded nearby. According to Martha Stewart Weddings, the happy couple wanted their day to “feel fun, celebratory, and non-traditional.”

Captioned, “Thanks @daniebb3. You get us.” We think this one may be our favorite.

Congratulations, you two!
