So, I survived day one of being outfitted by you guys!

Honestly, I was kind of afraid of this combo. It was totally cute, but I don’t own a single yellow item and was worried I’d feel like a bright yellow neon sign.
Which I did, for a few minutes, but I got over it.
The dress is a little clingier than I normally wear, but I liked the over all look. I kind of felt brighter, too, wearing something so cheery. I’m glad I got this push for color, I think I really needed a break from constant black. Thanks, Heather, for putting it together!

Say hi to my friend, Rebecca. (Clearly, our waitress was not a trained photographer.)

Showing off the earrings. I love big earrings.

And, the shoes. The fifteen dollar shoes. I seriously adore them. I would have picked heels to go with the dress, but I also would have been limping come 3PM. I wore this all day long without changing three seconds upon walking in the door, like I am known to do. When I actually get dressed up, I mean.
So, day 1 went well. It was fun! Help me out with day two, won’t you? It’s a trip to NYC to see the Target Fall Fashions, so I really want to look good.
And, if you want any of these above, see them directly at Target.

You do suit yellow. Your legs and smile were the best accessory. Earrings are lovely too.

You look as cute as can be in that outfit! Glad to hear that day 1 was a success.
That outfit is adorable! I am loving the yellow. A friend of mine also wore a really cute dress from Target the other day. I need to go check their stuff out.

That is a great look for you Jill! Love it!
Really wanted to participate but I live in the UK and it wouldn’t let me submit my outfit. You’d have looked gorgeous in my idea too. Loved the yellow on you.
Oh you look smashing, dahling. LOVE it all on you. xo

You look adorable – and comfy shoes are pure awesome. There’s nothing worse than limping back home after a day out!
I can’t get into scarves. They look cute on everyone else, but I know I’d either be fiddling with it (end here? end there? where do I put this thing?!?) or ripping it off after 20 minutes.

I totally agree, I’ve never really understood them either. It wasn’t so bad, though!
Why have you avoided yellow until now?? It looks great!
No joke, 90% of what I wear is black. This is all big for me.
You look great! I need to add some yellow to my life. It looks so cheery on you.
yellow is a great color for you!
Actually, that’s a great outfit on you. Fun, fresh, and flattering. Next time Im in Baltimore, I’m totally taking you out for lunch!

I love that you’re doing this…love those shoes too!
How do you get the clothes after the look is chosen? Do you go to Target and they have your outfit waiting for you? OMG…do you go in your jammies? That would be pretty awesome. No, even more awesome? They come to your house and drop off your outfit for the day…that would make mornings so easy!

OMG, I love the notion of Target in my PJs– how fun would that be?!? But, no, they took over my closet and I have everything stocked here. It’s pretty awesome.
Wow, that is soooo freakin’ awesome. I’m going to keep an eye on this blog to see if I can get some ideas on what to wear. I’m hovering between a size 10 and 12, so what looks good on you should give me some ideas. I’ve been staying home so long now that I’m only buying jeans and t-shirts. I haven’t worn a skirt in…how old is my kid? 12 years?
Yellow is totally your color. And cute shoes! Love the outfit.

I think that you look great in this outfit. I would not normally have paired that scarf with that outfit, but I LOVE it together.
And also…LOOOOVE your phone cover! How cute is that?!?!

Shameless phone case, but I love it, too. Thanks!!
You look really cute – it’s amazing what a few accessories can do to pump up an outfit. The scarf is great – the earrings are so cute! You pulled it off – no doubt!
Question: Why are you standing in the forest? (although you look cute in the trees… just curious… lol)
I played with the facebook application, and created a “look” for you… although it makes me want to head to Target to buy it for me (but that’s the idea, right?!) lol.

This campaign is pure genius!

cute. the only thing I dislike is that the scarf covered the frills on the dress. But it’s all cute stuff. I really like that dress!

You look really cute and I am the same, I wear black all the time cuz it is easier. You need to wear colors and will you wear te outfit again? It looked comfortable:-)
Yay you! I would not have picked a yellow dress either. But seeing this…maybe I should add some new colors to my wardrobe. Thanks for the inspiration:)

You looked wonderful in that outfit. Love the yellow dress with the scarf. Nicely done.

My biggest fear would be having to wear scarves. I feel SO out of place with a scarf on (not including the bundled-up Winter look). Funny thing is, I think they look great on other people. :)

I have to say that you look adorable, and totally not scary in that cheery number. This thing you’re doing with Target is amazing. You’re like my personal paper doll! I have a similar build as you, well I’m fatter and have much worse legs, ok, so I have a worse build than you, but I think I’d look good in the same types of outfits. Someone over at Target is freaking brilliant for thinking up this while project. I’ll be checking in daily and emptying my checking account at my nearest Target.
NYC? You are such a baller. For real. Loving, loving the shoes and jewelry. And yellow is great color on you!
So you said that people have said terrible things about your looks in comments, but, seriously, I would kill for your legs. Kids didn’t give me stretch marks (easy to cover up), they gave me varicose veins. Very big, very bumpy, very blue varicose veins. (harder to cover up) Go on with yo bad legs!
