Spaghetti Monday

At one year, Evan has mastered the art of slurping up an entire strand of spaghetti. Impressive, I think.

Next stop, hot dog eating contests.

That’s fabulous.
We had spaghetti tonight, but I don’t have nearly the cute photos you do. You don’t want to see this mug covered in the pasketti.

What a face!

I think I have one of me just like that. Maybe I can dig it out of the box one of these days. Maybe on Spaghetti Monday 2020.

I find more impressive the fact that he has no sauce in his eyebrows.

A feat my almost-8-year-old can’t quite accomplish…

Nice! Mine has mastered rubbing it into his hair so that I can’t even possibly scrub it out with only one bath.

Those big brown eyes slay me! snuggle!

I can’t believe how big he is… He looks so much like Lily and Ben! There is no denying he belongs to you guys.

I am with Shannon. Even my girls – at 7 and 11 – cannot manage to eat spaghetti without getting it everywhere. I always know that when we have it, it will for sure be a shower night.

Adorable. I say start the training early for the hotdog eating! And remember water between bites to help wash it down!

Sooo cute! But he’s not fast enough yet – a really good slurper can get that sauce whipped all the way across the cheek. hee hee.

The lone fact he does not have 3.5 teaspoons of sauce in his hair is what amazes me … Peanut apparently finds tomato sauce much more effective than shampoo.

I love the photos. When my kids were young, we used to cut the spaghetti into bite sized pieces, they just couldn’t do the slurping thing.
